Welcome to the... F.V.D.R.A.

The Fraser Valley Dirt Riders are a family oriented dirt bike club. We  promote responsible off road riding and are active in the crusade to keep our riding areas open.

As a club we put on a couple of major race events open to the public each year.  For our members we offer camping, club rides for the whole family, fun rides and kids events, womens learn to ride and skill building, and bike maintenance nights.   We are active in maintaining our existing riding areas and work with other clubs for the stewardship of all our riding areas.

Come check us out at one of our monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month in Langley or at one of our events.

The 2010 Vancouver Bike Show

Below is a great shot of the booth at The 2010 Vancouver Bike Show. 

Thanks to all the volunteers that came out to help setup and setdown the booth as well as work the booth to promote the club and riding in B.C.

"The New F.V.D.R.A. Shed"

Fran and Al Norman kindly offered the F.V.D.R.A. some space on their property to build a shed  for all our "Club Stuff".  Below are a few pictures of the shed in progress and the final product. 

Thanks to all the volunteers who showed up and all the members who contacted us with tools and equipment to loan.  It really was a team effort and what a great lookin shed!  Thank you also to Cedar Grove Roofing supplies, Centra Windows and Broadleaf Logistics for donating the window, roofing, plywood, and siding for the shed project.

On our ride last Thursday Feb 18th 2010, we found this

'little nugget" on the 401.  We cut away the trees and could just squeeze by with our bikes.
